Washington Co. Sheriff - TNT - used condition - In 1976, the Washington Co. Sheriff Tactical Negotiations Team (TNT) was formed. The TNT consists of members of Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, police officers from Beaverton, Hillsboro, Sherwood, Tigard, Tualatin and Forest Grove, and members of the Sheriff's Office. The team responds county-wide to extremely dangerous situations where traditional police tactics and equipment are inadequate. These situations may involve hostages, armed suicide bombers, clandestine drug labs, barricaded wanted persons, or high-risk warrants for the arrest of dangerous criminals. Washington Co.
