Lafourche Parish Sheriff - worn since 1992 - new condition - The patch depicts their badge, a navy blue 6-point sheriff's tar trimmed in gold with a state seal inlay surrounded by the wors Lafourche Parish. This embedded on the Americna eagle with the title Sheriff lettered in a banner above the eagle and the date 1808 when the the sheriff's office was established. The olive branches in its right claw symbolize peace and the arrows in its left claw symbolize protection. The royal blue blackground bordered with gold and outlined with navy blue represents the office's colors. Sheriff Craig Webre designed this patch when he took office in 1992.
