Sheriff - Meth Enforcement - new condition - Cherokee County is located in southeast Kansas near the Missouri and Oklahoma borders, an area historically connected to meth trafficking routes. Meth enforcement usually includes investigations into methamphetamine distribution, clandestine meth labs, undercover operations, and the execution of search warrants. The sheriff’s office often works together with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and regional narcotics task forces on larger drug cases.
