King Co. Jail - new condition - the County Correctional Facility is a 2000 bed jail in the city of Seattle.

King Co. Sheriff - new conditon - In 1996, voters decided to reinstate voting for the sheriff and the name was changed back to the King County Sheriff’s Office

King Co. Sheriff - Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting - new condition - Deputies assigned to the airport wear a mix of both Police and Fire uniforms, turnouts etc., which includes single Police, Fire/ARFF patch, and drive King County International Airport Police patrol cars.

Sheriff - TAC 30 - SWAT - new condition - This SWAT Unit is trained in the use of special weapons, equipment and tactics necessary to contain, control and arrest suspects or individuals under circumstances that standard patrol deputies are ill-equipped to resolve without extreme personal hazards.

King Co. Sheriff - Bomb Squad - new condition - The Bomb Squad handle, use and safely dispose of commercial explosives, pyrotechnic mixtures, improvised explosive devices and various chemicals. Technicians also are trained and certified to handle hazardous materials and understand the complexities nuclear, biological and chemical attacks.

King Co. Sheriff - Air Support Unit - new condition - This Air Support Unit is the only full-time law enforcement aviation unit in the state of Washington. The total annual flight time averages about 1200 hours a year.

Kitsap Co. Sheriff - new condition - The patch was designed by Sheriff Pat Jones (1979-1998) and his father Dean, who was also a Sheriff it Kitsap Co. (1949-1963). They designed it in conjunction with the local U.S. Naval Administration. It shows the Trident submarine, which is a tribute to the Bangor Naval Submarine Base.
