Rutherford Co. Sheriffs Office - green - new condition

Rutherford Co. Sheriff - new condition - The patch was created in 2011 by Patrol Deputy Michael Parsons. The patch is reminiscent of the shield the knights of old carried with their armor. The word "Sheriff" at the top of the patch plainly states under whose authority the deputies are action upon, while just below it is the badge, a 7-point star with county seal that displays the region in which they are responsible. The background displays the American and Tennesee flags which stands for the patriotism and loyality to the state and country. It also serves as a reminder of American democracy and freedom as well as the federal and state constitutions in which the office upholds. The "Thin Blue Line" runs horizontal through the patch. This represents the fraternity of LE and the fine line between order and chaos.
